Please join fellow students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff for the annual
Terrapin Pride Day event on Monday, February 27, 2012.
There will not be a rally. Instead, we encourage all members of our community to come to Annapolis and meet with legislators from your home districts.
If you are an out-of-state student, you can make an appointment to meet with a legislator from the district in which you now reside.
You can find out the name of your legislator by clicking on the "Locate Your Elected Officials" link on the left.
View two videos with tips for Terrapin Pride Day here.
Two shuttle buses will leave from the front of the Cole Field House at 4:45 p.m. There will be a short training session on how to approach your legislator from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. (Room 145, House Office Building, Annapolis) .
From 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., people are encouraged to visit their legislators. 8:00 p.m. President Loh will receive proclamations about Terrapin Pride Day from President Mike Miller and Speaker Mike Busch. You are encouraged to sit in the gallery of the Senate and House chambers during the presentation.
Shuttle buses will return at 8:30 p.m.
Wear your Maryland Red and show your support by coming to Annapolis on February 27th!
