Please join fellow students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff for the annual Terrapin Pride Day event on Monday, February 9, 2009.
Because of the budget situation, there will not be a rally this year. Instead, we encourage all members of our community to come to Annapolis and meet with legislators from your home districts.
If you are an out-of-state student, you can make an appointment to meet with a legislator from the district in which you now reside.
You can find out the name of your legislator by clicking on the "Locate Your Elected Officials" link on the left.

Two shuttle buses will leave from the front of the Cole Field House at 5:00 p.m. There will be a short training session on how to approach your legislator from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. (room in Annapolis to be determined)
From 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., people are encouraged to visit their legislators.
8:00 p.m. President Mote will receive proclamations about Terrapin Pride Day from President Mike Miller and Speaker Mike Busch. You are encouraged to sit in the gallery of the Senate and House chambers during the presentation.
One shuttle bus will return at 8:00 p.m.; second shuttle bus will return at 8:30 p.m.
Wear your Maryland Red and show your support by coming to Annapolis on February 9th!
