Disability Support Services at the University of Maryland
The mission of the Disablility Support Service is to coordinate services that ensure individuals with disabilities equal access to University of Maryland College Park programs.
Maryland Department of Disabilities
MDOD is charged with unifying Maryland state policy regarding people with disabilities. MDOD oversees the restructuring, reorganization of government delivery of services & programs for people with disabilities in Maryland through collaboration with all state government agencies.
Office of Human Relations Programs
As an office we are committed to a variety of proactive educational programs in multicultural education. We offer workshops, training, class facilitation, and small group dialogues on a variety of diversity issues including sexual harassment prevention, race, ethnicity, and sexuality. We regularly sponsor campus wide events through the Diversity Initiative. Browse through the following pages to know more about us.
Legal Affairs Office
The Office of Legal Affairs was established in 1972 to provide direct, readily accessible, on-campus legal resources to University officials, faculty, and staff in the performance of their duties. It offers a full range of legal services and expertise, with concentration in areas of particular importance to a public research university. The professional and fiduciary responsibility of the Office of Legal Affairs is to the University and the President.
