• The 2009 ACE/Women in Maryland Higher Education annual luncheon on November 13, 2009 will be held at the Community College of Baltimore County–Catonsville. The featured speaker this year is Dr. Thelma Thompson, president of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Registration is very limited this year, due to space—about 20 spaces remain at this time. • 2010 Nominations Now Open: Each year the President’s Commission on Women’s Issues honors outstanding women on our campus for their exemplary contributions and positive impact at the University of Maryland and its community.
