International Development
For any university to be great today, it must be engaged globally. The entire world must be our subject matter, obviously. But more than that, we best serve our own society in this Information Age by ensuring that we have the tools, knowledge and understanding to share with people and institutions in distant lands and different cultures.
President Mote has made a high priority of connecting Maryland strategically with the world.
