    1. University Did Not Provide Notification on Need for Advance

    The university should comment on the non-notification of the cost over-run and the advance.

    During our formal budget hearing with the Department of Budget and Management held on July 17, we informed all parties present at the hearing of the MFRI issue. Members of the executive branch, as well as staff from the Department of Legislative Services, attended our hearing. We thought that all parties to the process had been informed and we apologize if we did not sufficiently inform the General Assembly.
