ENHANCEMENT FUNDING BUILDS FOR THE FUTURE
Peer average funding through tuition and General Funds can provide the resources needed to fulfill the State's promise for a nationally eminent university. It will provide support for smaller classes, enhanced undergraduate programming, world-class faculty, and new initiatives that serve the needs of the people of the State. Chancellor Kirwan and the Regents have made this goal a USM priority. UM's $1 billion campaign shows that alumni and friends have made it a priority. Our plans embody the confidence our partners have that building the great university with affordable access is vital for the future of the State. The University of Maryland is the single most important asset of the State in determining its future.
