The University of Maryland is now inviting applications and nominations for the position of Senior Vice President and Provost to lead our academic enterprise. We will be pursuing a diverse pool of candidates drawn exclusively from within the University System of Maryland.

As we continue to implement new and innovative ways to teach and learn, it is important for our university to have a chief academic officer who will build on our strong history to effect positive, transformative change. Our next Provost will be charged with advancing the university and its position in the national academic landscape.
